The Journey

Infrared Photography

A report of Ariane's experiences in the Dutch landscape and beyond. The long wavelengths of light are the language: the red end of the spectrum and beyond, wavelengths largely invisible to the eye. This requires converted cameras and special filters. This helps to conjure up a reality on this journey in which ordinary colors no longer exist, and to unravel new stories.
